Sounds like FFC was tired of being asked about part 4 again, as another one of his newer films is being released. He has always said some head scratching things about the movies over the years, but I doubt he meant this or it was taken out of context.

Coppola is clearly annoyed by that guy which is why he said it. If you listen to Coppola's commentary of Part II on DVD or Blu-Ray you hear quite the contrary. Part II really was "Coppola's" film. I think the guy is done with people ansking him if there would be another film.
