He sure is quite a legend! The best Italian opera guy since Pavarotti.

I can't say that I like opera, but I like this singer, great voice.

I think his most poignant performance was at Statue of Liberty Park in 2000. He performed "Sogno" as a tribute to his father. It was the first time he had performed since his father's death. Additionally, I find this concert particularly moving, as you can see The Twin Towers in the background.

I watched most of the Concert in C.P. The man has a voice from heaven. You don't even have to know Italian to appreciate the power and emotion that emits. As a singer I wish I could sing one tenth as good as him. The man has genius. God bless him.

Any thing he sings is truly golden. My personal Bocelli favourite is Canto Della Terra.

Wait a second, with the other paisani on this forum, only a few posted something. Opera is the TRUE music of Italy. The sad thing is many of the younger Italians and Italian-Americans aren't into it. I love it. Pavarotti is my all time favorite.

Very nice NJBoy. smile They sound good together.

Hearing Tony Bennett makes me flashback to my younger days when Sunday was my "dad's" kind of music day. smile The stereo would be cranked up a little and Tony Bennett was one of the many artists my family enjoyed. One of my favorite TB song's too.
