How do you guys feel about female boxers or female bodybuilders? Do you find it to be "bad taste" or "disgusting"? Do you think that there are certain sports women should not practice? Do you think that there are certain sports men should stay away from? Do you think men dancing ballet is gay? btw, Van Damme did ballet. I tried it once with my gf and I couldn't walk for a week. It's the hardest thing I tell ya. Well I remember one time in a local pub the guys were switching sports channels, and then we saw these two female boxers fighting for the title. Some folks around us were like "oh man that's disgusting, turn this shit off" but it was a good fight. I personally don't think any sport should be men-only or women-only. If people want to do this you can't stop 'em. As far as the image goes, well that's another thing. If you find it impossible to watch a woman bleeding or fighting her guts then I guess you will never change your mind. but who doesn't want to watch a catfight?

I find overdeveloped bodybuilders--male and female--unappealing.
I followed female boxing for a while. Some of them, especially Anne Wolf--were really good. In fact, for a while, the level of competitiveness was better than in male boxing above super middleweight.
Where women excel is in distance running. They have a gender advantage: females in general have a higher body fat content than men, and can metabolize fat into energy far more efficiently than men. Humans metabolize carbs for energy first. But, no matter how many carbs you loaded on the night before, once you get to 20 miles or so, you "hit the wall" when you run out. That's where women take over. Women hold ultramarathoning records, and the gap between the winning male and female times in marathons has been dropping steadily. Within a generation, women will be winning marathons.
