Watched Fences last night, good movie Viola Davis deserved the Oscar in my opinion Last 3 movies I saw at the theater were Fences, John Wick 2, and Split. I thought Fences had great acting and great dialogue but too many events (and even entire characters) were referenced rather than shown onscreen, making it very obvious that it was based on a play (which I did not know ahead of time). I don't mind movies based on plays so long as they don't hide the ball. A Few Good Men was based on a play but I never got the impression it was taking place in a box. Fences seemed very limited setting and plot wise. Split and John Wick 2 are much more popcorn/fluff movies but I personally enjoyed them more. All three are good in vastly different ways, but I rank them Split>Wick>Fences.

Anyone ever watch this? As a child, we used to have this, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) and Empire of the Sun and nothing else on VHS and I'd watch this when I was bored and home alone. I must have watched it 20 times. I thought it was a really good action movie and Belushi and Gossett kicked ass in the lead roles. IDK how it would hold up watching it now.
I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

afriendofours, that movie scares the hell out of me. On the TCM app I watched The Third Man This movie I highly recommend. Great acting. Good story. Here is the IMDb info on it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041959/ I also watched The Honeymoon Killers which stars Tony Lo Bianco (Meow) Doris Roberts is in too, didn't even recognize her Based on a true story. Horrible people. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064437/

How old are you Foots, if you dont mind? Did you guys from 107th st and 1st ave go to Pleasant Ave? And around 116th st? The Giglio feast at Mount Carmel 114 street. Every so often it was lifted from a different block we went to the feast. Not offen we stayed within a few blocks from where we lived. But if you wanted to go to the park or go to the pool you went to Jefferson park. We played American football against other blocks teams. We played against the Hun 8 guys that is how I met the Prisco's, Anthony santorelli and Ray Ray and horse and other wackos, Hun 9 boys met younger guys Johnny my best living friend the movie star more or less, and others including Michael Meldish. Then we played a Hun 16 Ponzo team he was Johnny Delightfuls brother. Later my friend Johnny played for them and those nut jobs some of them are still around somewhere.

Wall Street - 8/10
Only seen this movie recently despite it being old. Second time watching it there. Good film.
Never been the biggest fan of Douglas or Charlie Sheen, but both were excellent.
