Glad you like them. I can't say much about Naples as I haven't been(would like to)but I love Sicily and especially Palermo. I've had alot of Italian friends tell me avoid Naples due to crime/trash problems....but then again I've had some tell me to avoid Sicily too. For me, if it came to a choice of the last place I see in Italy I'd pick Sicily again. These are beautiful!! I am going to Italy in May this year, i planned it for Napels, but seeing these photos makes me wanna go to Sicily instead.

Wow Strax.....you have a buttload of pics there I've never seen! The pics there of the Borsellino sight give you a bit better sense of the size of the area as opposed to the footage but still doesn't capture how small the area actually is. Our first trip was in July '10. We spent a day in Palermo and that was the trip we went to Montelepre and Corleone. That was a two week stay but it was a working vacation so really only had the weekends to get on the road. The next trip was in April '11 and then Oct '11. those two were 4 days each in just Palermo. Well, Monreale too on the last trip.

The first 3 pics are a plaque to Falcone that sits in a somewhat lonely park behind Chiesa di Magione. The other two are where Pietro Scaglione and his driver were asassinated. Just found an article about this Falcone plaque. Apparently this spot was chosen as Falcone and Borsellino used to kick the soccer ball around this field as kids.
