If you watch the end of Pine Barrens when they're in the car, it seems like Chrissy and Paulie are cool, because Paulie admitted the whole thing was his fault. The trouble started when Chrissy didn't want to pay for Paulie and the others when they were having dinner. Like Tony explained to him, it's normal for soldiers to pay and show respect to those above. I think he understood what Tony meant when he explained it, but Paulie being Paulie had to rub it in Chrissy's face. That was the problem. Paulie being a prick about it.

I thought they fell out again when Chrissy was telling Vito and the others the joke then he told them about Paulie losing his shoe. Can't remember if this was before or after.

Yes indeed , outstanding. But he didn't back down and then questioning Tony woops James G , did a fantastic job in that series. Think he is my favorite in the Sopranio's. Maybe it is the weight and look factor for me
