Quick question anyone. In Godfather III, before the Opera Night, Anthony and Michael go to a Cafe/Restaurant and Anthony borrows a guitar to sing a song to Michael. Does anyone know the name/author of the song, it's in Italian.

is this the same tune that was playing at the michael-appolonia wedding? it sounds similar

Yes, the tune is based on the "Love Theme" from G1 by Nino Rota. So, definately not "authentic Sicilian"!

That song is fantastic and I think it's a pitty that it wasn't releashed on the soundtrack of the film

Anyway, I guess I have to watch that scene in the movie everytime to hear it
