I saw the advert for the godfather on film four yesterday, where michael explains his plans to kill Sollozo, but I personally think that scene would be better if they kept it like it was in the book , it would be an early hint to Michael's ruthlessness which is shown in GF2.
Any scenes that are different in the film that you think would be better if they were like the book?

it would be interesting if one was like a cross of Sonny and Michael , like bad tempered/extremely smart, that would of probably made the godfather future very interesting

He certainly is bad-tempered. Some would disagree, but I think he's also very smart. He sniffed out the AC hit in time to save Michael, unlike all the other dons in the meeting. He was also smart enough to go from total outsider to don in a very short time.

I would think anybody could have sniffed out the stink from the comments about the "Lucky Coat"....
I know I smelled something, even earlier
