Good fight. Obviously I was looking for Mayweather/Pacquiao but I like this fight also.

Now, hopefully they make Pacquiao/Bradley.

I really like Cotto a lot, but he has his hands full with Mayweather!! Big props to Cotto though who has never dodged anybody in his whole career!

Oh man well I know the outcome, but what the hell I am a huge Cotto fan I love the guy! Would love to see him win, he is a good representation of the sport, humble and respectful always. Come on Cotto!

I completely agree.
I'll always be a huge Cotto fan.
Respectful, humble, always entertaining, and willing to fight anyone.
Boxing needs more fighters like Cotto.

And the Mayweather/Cotto undercard is looking great as well.
Canelo Alvarez vs. Shane Mosley and possibly Winky Wright vs. Kid Choclate. Plus a few other nice fights.
Mayweather/Cotto + Canelo Alvarez on Cinco de Mayo = 1.5+ buys imo.


And on a side note, Brandon Rios vs. Gamboa is now official.
That's going to be an absolute WAR. I can't wait.

Its horrible knowing what will happen in this fight because Cotto is my favourite fighter! Its a horrible fight for Cotto, literally the worst kind of fighter he could be matched with, Cotto has fairly average hand speed, not too much head movement, gets hit a lot, and tires in late rounds. Mayweather is too slick to get drawn into a brawl which Cotto would like. However he deserves the pay day for his commitment to the sport. The one positive is the weight is in Cotto's favour, it was disgraceful that Roach and Arum made Cotto weigh in at 145 for a title fight in the 147 class for a belt he held against Pac!
