Was watching goodfellas today for the 3 millionith time and you always manage to pick something new out.

Today for me that prize was Beansie lol. I finally noticed that Henry's Pittsburgh connection was Beansie from The Sopranos. Im sure i have noticed him in a few other movies.

The funniest so far has to go to Artie Buco in his role as a cop in Notorious BIG movie.

Funny you should mention that as i spotted him for the first time when i recently watched it.. Goodfellas is like a who's who of Sopranos..

The guy who plays Beansie is also in an early part of Casino. He's one of the guys running out of the bookie joint to the pay phone. He's also in the movie Heat, where he plays the cop on the scene of the armored truck robbery when Pacino arrives.

Copland, another good movie. Any other Jersey/NY mob type movies like this ?. I love the whole NY vibe from movies. Copland must watch that again tonight.

Haha never realized Beansie was in so many movies. Artie Buco as the cop is still the best though.

Id have liked to have seen more of his character in Goodfellas he seemed pretty funny from the small scene we got about the helicopters.

Carmela in Copland at the beginning as a police officer was a massive change for me. Forgot she played a small part in this.

So many of the similar actors, Frank Vincent once again who is in every NY movie with a hint of crime lol, great actor though.

Gloria Detillo also in it.

being a drug dealer in 2 dif series dosen't make a connection to the story that the character is playing in the time.

Big Pussy and Paulie are both in goodfellas. Also hill's wife(ray liotta was the second choice to play Tony Soprano and Bracco first tried out to play Carmela, wouldve been easy to see lol) is tony's doctor and hill's mother in law plays tony's mother in law. The owner of the club hill helps burn down is on the sopranos.

Im quite drunk at the moment lol.

EDIT: Haha just found on IMDB i spotted the beansie here. A younger Carmine Lupertazzi. Must be the 600th time ive watched Goodfellas and i notice something new everytime.
