I almost never use Quick Reply to post. Tried it tonight, and encountered these problems:

1. Typed a reply, then, before I posted it, I tried switching to the full reply screen in order to add a few smilies. Instead, I got an error screen saying "Unknown Host" or something similar. When I used my "back" button, it took me back to the GBB, but the text in the Quick Reply box was gone.

2. Typed a Quick Reply to a different post, then when I hit "submit," I got a different error screen - "Unknown Server" or something of that nature. Tried refreshing the page, resending the information, nothing worked. Hit the "back" button, returned to the GBB and, again, the text in the reply box was gone.

I gave up and made my post from a full reply screen, and had no problems.

Can't figure out what went wrong, but I guess I'll be staying away from the Quick Reply option for now.

Works fine for me, too... those errors don't even make much sense to me confused

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Or, it could have been one of the many AOL annoyances.

Testing this post in the Quick Reply box. Will now hit "Switch to Full Reply Screen." Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, the Full Reply screen worked. Will now hit "Submit."
