I don't think of the LCN of being "national" in scope anymore. Upwards of 90% of the LCN's approx. 1,000 members are in the northeast. Except for it's sports betting networks extending out to Nevada, Arizona, California, etc., it's almost non-existent in the west. And in the south all you really have is crews from the NY families in the Miami/south Florida area. Chicago and maybe Detroit are the only families in the midwest that could still be considered viable.
I basically look at it as the 5 families in the greater NY metro/tri-state area. Plus 3 smaller families "orbiting" them in New England, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. And a 4th small family in Chicago. great feedback as always. maybe i should have used a different word instead of "national". looking back, i should have said "regional powerhouse", as other than a few guys here and there, NY has almost nothing going on outside of the northeast, and south florida to a lesser extent.

There's only about 10 or so made guys left in Cleveland. More like 5 or so.

Yeah, I always count total made members. Not that it really makes a difference as far as Cleveland is concerned. Is he realted to Jon Nardi? you know wiseguy? I'm not sure but I would imagine so.

i was thinking that they would be harder to identify seeing as they are spread so thin running all of ohio, western pa, and west virginia Cleveland never had anyone in Western PA or West Virginia (Pittsburgh had some people around Wheeling a long time ago). There's not even anyone left in Youngstown or the Mahoning Valley and there hasn't been any Cleveland family people there since the 80s (unless Orlie Carabbia counts - I believe he lingered for some time after his brother was murdered and the other was sent to jail for 20+ years). All that's left of the Cleveland family is probably concentrated in Greater Cleveland, and they were never close to controlling even half of Ohio, much less "all of" it. They were concentrated in the Northeast quarter of the state, with nothing in Cincinnati or Columbus. They did have some far-flung interests in Vegas and maybe elsewhere.

Oh okay, haha - I was actually dumb enough to think you were serious. My bad. That was a pretty decent impersonation of a Cleveland mob cheerleader though!
