Can we presume the senior Gambino member referenced who was broadcasting live for the Radio FBI was Stefanelli? Others have wondered about that as well. i think it was prob nicky skins

Also unless the murders are public or are tied into a case you would't hear about it. If some soldier goes missing it won't be in the papers unless they solve it
There certainly are lesser known guys do go under the radar. Which has led to people thinking there are no mob hits these days. But, for example, Ralph Coppola was never found and he made the news. But he was an acting captain and related to Bellomo. But there are a lot of lower hanger-ons, wannabe's, etc. that get hit and it doesn't make a lot of news.
Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massach..._from_new_york/Today's Globe article. Some interesting quotes: In a conversation with the senior Gambino member in June 2011, he speculated about who was cooperating with authorities, and he concluded that it could be a former New England Mafia boss.
He went on to explain, according to court records, that he dispatched an associate to try to locate the former boss. I wonder who the former boss is, my guess would be Salemme.
