Both of them are good, the first one is more George Jung time era whilst the second is the crack cocaine and Griselda Blanco.

there is a really good book about Jon Roberts, think its called American Desperado, one of the best books i have ever read I just read Roberts book (American Desperado) and it is a very good read. If you want to know more about the Cocaine Cowboys, this is the best I have found thus far. Roberts obsession for telling us how evil he is gets old.
Best way to catch the smart ones? Get an idiot working for them.

John says at the start of the first Cocaine Cowboys documentary that he was involved with the mafia in running a few nightclubs or something along those lines. Love the soundtrack music from Jan Hammer - Cocaine Cowboys Soundtrack Jan Hammer

great documentary. still haven't seen the 2nd one but heard it wasn't as good I thought it was pretty good anyway, not as good as the first of course but still more than a decent watch. It seems John Roberts(original name Riccobono) was a made man but fled to Miami after the death of a business partner. Must pick up the book American Desperado.
