Fruit appears every time someone will die, in a direct or indirect form. The bowl of oranges in the Atlantic City meeting is kind off direct But it could very well be a character eating an orange, and then dying in the next scene. I don't remember if it was intentionally by FFC, maybe he did the thing twice, saw the connection, and continued doing it. Make a search if you want to know, and if you want so see many more theories about oranges.
See, we can act as smart as we want, but at the end of the day, we still follow a guy who fucks himself with kebab skewers.

Yeah G-I You should use a or a or a if you want to post a ball busting post like that. You just don't know Apple like WE do. If you did, you would know that she is alike like ME We like to bust ball and keep thing on the light side around here. And don't bother correcting my spelling or grammar. I don't claim to be an english major. Yeah, and I an't no bandleader either. Maybe you could come down for a visit, have some breakfast and get to know us a bit. By the Way, will the new board have a spell checking on it?

Listen, German-Irish...the secret to successful 'ball' or 'ovary' busting is you have to be able to take it as well as give it. And you've got to be clever enough to do your busting without resorting to outright, blatant, in-your-face personal insults.
Might wanna work on that...
And I'm not sure exactly whom you're referring to as 'older members', but speaking for myself, a quick check of several past threads will show that I don't get any more 'latitude' from SC or ANY OTHER moderator than anyone else on the Gangster BB.
Now, relax and go have a nice big glass of orange juice.

There's a big difference between making light of a subject and making nasty remarks against another person. I assure you that no latitude is given anyone because of their length of membership here. I understand you started this thread as a serious discussion. If I started a serious discussion and someone made light of it I wouldn't like it (as I suspect you don't) but I wouldn't make a personal attack against the offender. There's no excuse for that. I suggest ignoring those with whom you have any issues. If it continues and gets out of hand punitive actions will be taken against them (or you if you reciprocate). Lighten up and enjoy the boards.

It seems SC that you give a lot more latitude to the older members of the board when it comes to "Busting Balls",You don't seem to mind when your buddies mock other members topic starters. So why can't they take a little ball or ovary busting? Did you not notice that I deleted this crap the first time you posted it?

Has it ever been explained what the significance of all the oranges that appear in the three films?
GI, I think the manner you posted your question in is what caused some 'fall out' from the group. Now, we've all known you to be a reasonable poster, and as a reasonable poster your willing to explain your actions in here. B/C if you instead asked, 'hey guys, anyone wanna talk about the oranges?' no problem getting replys. But if at the beginning of your post you ask if the issue has EVER been discussed before, you sound like someone who has done absolutely no research on the subject. From your past posts I know that no to be the truth so it makes we wonder what we have done to deserve this ineptitude?
