I love Dean Martin. Both Memories Are Made Of This & Return To Me remind me, for some reason, of sitting in front of our huge counsel radio as a kid as my parents turned up the volume.
I had both Dino's "That's Amore" & "Volare" played at my daughters' weddings. There such cool songs.
Btw, I believe it was Dominico Mudugno who had the actual hit on the song (?). Which version do you like best? I think my parents liked Dominico because it was in Italian.

Tis, I love all those songs as well. Dino was a legend. I was in Las Vegas not too long ago, and saw a Dino impersonator. He was just like Dino, but pretty close, and was great to watch.
About Volare, you're right that it was originally done by the one and only Domenico Modugno.

NJBoy, is the act you saw in Vegas with Dean Martin "The Rat Pack" show? I have that on my list of Vegas shows to see.

Everybody and their brother recorded that song in the late '50s. Modugno had the biggest success with the song but Dino's version was on the charts for awhile.

A while back somebody here (don't remember who) posted a song by Dean & Frank called "Proud to be Italian." I saved it to my favorites because, well because I'm Italian.
Anyway, I was gonna post it here and when I pulled it up from my favorites got a message saying "no longer available" due to the Sinatra family request or rights or such. Too bad.

Ohhhh! I really like Dino. He's so smooth and relaxed.
