Govt refuses to release Zimmermans gun back to him,
The trial evidence has been secured by the State for examination by federal authorities. Thank-you for adding that disclamier, we wouldn't want people to think that the Govt was doing anything that they shouldn't be doing again!

Thank-you for adding that disclamier, we wouldn't want people to think that the Govt was doing anything that they shouldn't be doing again! Typically, a not guilty verdict results in the release or other disposal of evidence unless a court orders it retained upon petition of litigants. If a guilty verdict, evidence is retained until appeals have been exhausted, the death of the defendant, or a court order expires.
