ok so dont make fun of me too much but netflix recommended this movie 54. it had mike myers staring as studio 54's club owner. not a bad flick actually. my question is did the mob ever have any of their fingers in this huge disco in the late 70s? when they were showing the skim in the movie they refered to it as a skim just like the vegas casinos. of course the person they gave the money to was an italian named Anthony that had the sterotypical mob guy look and talk. just curious and if anyone could shed some light it would be apperciated.
