You can buy "Captivity, Flight and Survival in World War II" by Alan J. Levine for $124.00 on amazon.com. I looked at used book prices on abe.com but it's the same. Thank you! I bought it. It took some time to get it and two hours at the customs. Good book. How's the legal situation in the U.S. about it? Is it per se illegal to escape from prison or only if other illegal activities (like stealing clothes, injuring officers, etc.) are involved?

Does anybody know a good book about escapes from jails and prison camps in the 20th century? Non-fiction. If possible, international escapes. I know there are books about single escapes, but I'm interested in something more systematic. Count of Monte Christo! What are you doing time for Danito?
