I really want one of those replicas, here in the UK you can get them on the web for roughly sixty pounds, but my question is, has anyone got one? if so, are they good quality? has anyone else considered buying one? i wouldn't be surprised if Al did have one of the replicas. That was, after all, the best movie he did make.

I doubt very much that Pacino has such merchandise as this. I doubt that he even likes his movies half as much as we do.

Let's see, there is The Godfather, The Godfather II, Scent Of a Woman and Serpico to name a few. We could maybe debate Scarface vs. Serpico, possibly even Scarface vs. Scent of a Woman, ( although Scent of A Woman was by far his best piece of acting next to GFI and GFII ) but there is NO WAY IMHO that Scarface was a better Movie than GFI or GFII! yes i admit scent of a woman was good for a "girle" flick, but Scarface is just as popular as the Beatles. Ask anyone about Al Pacino and the response you get is "say hello to my little friend" or another infamous scarface quote. Yea you may hear some whispers about his other movies but you hear yells when it comes to scarface

Don't get me wrong, Pacino was excellent in Scarface, he is always excellent. But I have to agree that he was better in numerous films, Scent of a Woman, The Godfather Trilogy, maybe Heat, etc...

no way am i going for a "popularity" vote, i have seen his movies and they are ok but Scarface has many aspects to it. For the "average" person Scarface is just a movie, but like I said before, you can mention Al Pacinos name and the response you most likly will hear is a quote from Scarface, not Heat or Scent of a Woman. I live by that movie and after watching the movie over 100 times I totally respect Al Pacino for THIS movie role.

Heat and Scent of a woman, are both great movies but are not cult movies, nor are they movies with that many memorable quotes, Scarface however has many memorable quotes and has cult status, but this does not mean Heat etc are poor or that Al Pacino was bad in Scarface, just because the story lacked depth

The Godfather has a lot of famous quotes, and has cult status, there were quite a few stars made through the trilogy, but does that make it better then Scarface, or any other movie out there? No. I guess its much more of an opinion thing, but I find that Al Pacino in The Godfather (among others) is better then in Scarface.

Scarface is a movie that has full depth, but it depends on HOW you watch the movie. The movie is not really as simple as it has been made out to be, I feel it is labeled that way because everyone just focuses on the "popular" parts of the movie. The entire movie relates to real life you just have to know what you are looking for in the movie.

IT'S not The GODFATHER IT'S about a poor as cuban selling drugs and geting money [/b]That is exactly what i mean when i say that only certain parts of the movie are glorified. the movie deals with real situations in life. Betrayal from your best friend, realizing that people are fake, not knowing who to trust, real things. Of course Tony is the MAIN character just like in every other movie, but if you watch more than Tony's part and pay attention you will see the other characters and the important part they had in the movie. Maybe that is why it became so popular, it is a movie that you can relate to. More than just a poor cuban who got rich. There is WAY more to the movie than that, maybe you should watch the movie.
