...Tony and Elvira had kids?? I have searched for discussions on this before and didn't find anything but maybe I am searching wrong. But I think Tony always wanted kids he wouldn't allow the car to be blown up knowing there was kids in it and when Manny was doing the weird thing with his tounge he was sitting down speaking with the little kid. Do you think if they had kids things would have been different??

No I really don't think so. Tony was what he was. Yes he loved kids, no question, but bottom line was that he wanted the world and everything in it, and too much was still not enough for him. The money, drugs and other stuff would still have been an influence on his life. And to be honest with you, I do not picture Elvira as the mother type. Tony as a father, yes, but Elvira as a mother, nah! Don Cardi

Remember she said she would have kids as long as there was a nurse.

Man I wish Tony had a kid, a boy to be precise, I would have liked to see more progression and depth to Elvira's character and this could've helped. Another question raised is how would Tony raise the child, would he act like he did with his sister Gina, completely overprotective?

Child or no child, things would have happened just as they did, irregardless. Only thing is that now you'd have a dead child and a dead Elvira.
What happened happened because of Manny Ray. The bank wanted to charge exorberant fees to keep Tony's money, so Manny Ray suggested using a "connected" guy to launder the money. The "connected" guy turned out to be the feds, and Tony got arrested.
Now, Sosa proposed a way to keep Tony out of jail, and that was for him to escort Omar in New York to kill some journalist who was going to make an appearance on television, exposing Sosa and his "associates." Tony takes matters into his own hands and kills Omar when he sees the journalist's children and wife enter the car that Omar was supposed to blow up, and this is the basis of the demise.
Manny would have died anyway, but Gina may have survived because she wouldn't have been at the mansion. Manny would have been at the mansion because Tony wanted him there. Either way, both Manny and Tony would have "bought the farm" that fateful evening.

The death of Tony Montana was a direct result of his own arrogance, his greed and his jelousey.
