Having read a few threads with all the Colombo's in the can you think they could start a protection racket like the mexican mafia? I mean sure racism is still alive were just reconciling it - Kanye west lol

e.g. Scarfo had some mexican's look out for him in LA TUNA when they got out he invitied them up to some gathering.

The feds dub the bloods and luchesse's an unholy alliance because its what blacks and Italians. Didn't Matthew Madonna supply Nicky Barnes like 40 years ago lol..

Race doesn't matter when money a lot of money is at stake...

Anyone like... IVY DAP HK or anyone else that mightalotta stats would know the %'s of race of OC Figures Incarcerated that would be cool to see..

I know this an ADD type thread but alliances are very common I mean look at the siggy Joe Masseria for e.g.

The LCN isn't a prison gang like La Eme. A lot of mob guys from all the families are incarcerated. But they're scattered in various prisons around the country. And often whites are a minority. Mob guys in prison aren't easy prey but they also don't run the joint, ala Goodfellas. Mob power is on the outside.

That whole Lucchese/Blood connection was overhyped. It's not like the Lucchese family and the Bloods sat down and worked out a formal partnership. It was one or two guys working with some Bloods to smuggle drugs and phones into prison.

I know I'm not that naive that I would think that they ran the joint like goodfellas only if I was IMAMOBGUY. Mob Attorneys and connections that are on boards since alot of prisons are becoming privatized especially in PA theres like a 100 of them. alliances with blacks and latinos. I've never been in Fed. Prison, but helped out some black guys with their cases and broke down things for them so they could understand it without being condescending. When I was in the Philadelphia County Jail... I know about being a minority when I was in there. A big group of Latinos were hanging out and two of the older members were eyeing me up one singled for me to come over...I pretended I didn't see them, thinking they were gonna start shit so they approached me... and the one guy asked he was like man we just wanted to know man you a Colombian or Italian...I'm Italian and that's what I told them...there like " Oh okay you look like a Colombian..and one of the other few white guys in there quipped to me you should have said you were a Colombian ..there afraid of them....

I should add that back in 2001 a Department of Justice report found that the head of the Corrections Officers Union Local 2005 had supplied Colombo, Lucchese, and Gambino inmates with contraband such as food and radios, warned of searches, and broke visiting rules in exchange for bribes.

I should also add that i see what ur saying dicknoe, but a lot of these guys are like the crips or bloods in the way theyre fuckin useless one on one. Not all, but a good portion of these guys who call themselves tough guys are only tough when theres ppl around.

the la family worked with la eme back in their early days. That obviously isnt the case now as that families now extinct. but i doubt theres much partnership now as the mexican mafia pretty are one biggest oc groups in cali now anyway, they got power in most the prisons and through the gang leaders on the street who are often members.

On the east coast, theirs obviously associations with biker clubs such as the hells angels and pagans. The only other groups i could think of are the aryans and junior black mafia. But it seems that most alliances are opportunistic such as the bloods/luchesse thing came up after the pernas wanted help or backing from a bloods leader in prison after one of their associates was being shaken down by a blood on the street.

It's pretty rare but the mob will work with street gangs from time to time. Or it would be more appropriate to say certain mobsters will work with street gangs from time to time. Or outlaw motorcycle gangs for that matter.

Back in 2001, a Genovese crew sold $40,000 worth of counterfeit $20 bills with a couple Latin King members. In 2004, you had some Lucchese and Bonanno associates working with Blood members in New Jersey to traffic in oxycontin. In 2007, of course, was when the Luccheses were smuggling drugs and phones into prison with the Bloods. In 2011, a Bonanno associate was trafficking in steroids and marijuana with the Hells Angels in Connecticut. And earlier this year, a Gambino associate was busted working with a Demon Knights MC member in a loansharking operation.
