I see how people like to put in their two cents about mobsters, OC Members, and/or Criminals who ratted. Obviously were in a new era, and given the mandatory minimums applied to state crimes and federal sentencing guidelines "things just ain't the same for gangsters," lol

You ask someone like Charlie White who just got out now to long ago and then you got a guy like Phillip Narducci who was a young buck and still has a good chunk of life left to live.. was it really worth it??? Well in Narducci's Case he had money and his family continued to make money while he was away...

Some of these NY Guys I don't follow as well but if anyone has any good articles on mobsters that did there time and came home bitter broke and stated publicly or even in a joking demeanor that they should have flipped considering that a lot of the rackets they once knew are gone...

Random Poster:"I'm sorry I didn't go to an Ivy-league school like you"

"Ah I actually I didn't. It's a nickname the feds gave the
Genovese Family."

The Narducci's and the Pungitores seem to be alright. They had money and seemed to have been smart with it. What about Tory Scafidi and Faffy Ianarella and those guys. All their money dried up? I wonder if their families are intact as well. Must be tough having a husband away for 20 years.

To answer your question I think I read in that book Made Men about the DeCavalcantes that "Tin Ear" Sclafani would complain aout him being passed over and Joe Massella complaining about always being broke despite standing up for the family. The Feds caught this on wiretap. I'm not sure what they went away for or for how long but even if they didn't I'd say there's a good number of mob guys who find out it's not all fun and games. Even Caramandi said he was better off before he was made because he only had to answer to himself not to mention look over his shoulder for his own "friends" trying to stab him in the back.
