I can't blame him for keeping a gun around... he flipped at one point!

I remember reading about this guy. Seems like he just couldn't catch a break! Fifteen yrs. may cause him to "turn" again. How much time will he be required to serve, about 3-5 yrs.?
He may tough it out, plus, how much does he really know?

I've seen his name several times, especially during thr FS trial. What exactly is his rank?

I agree, he seems like a non-lovable loser.

Who knows if he would have enough to flip with. Ivy said he doesn't think he was made. I have no idea. He definitely seems like kind of a clod. Obviously they wouldn't have involved him in anything since he threatened to flip, but he does seem to have been pretty heavy prior to the debacle that caused him to flip in the first place.

Apparently Marcello ordered Rainone to kill his boss, the Jeep, back in the day. He went to kill the Jeep and saw to guys, Fratto and Messino, waiting to kill him instead!

That is when he flipped.

Then they blew up his mom's porch and he decided to keep his mouth shut.

Good article on the whole thing here.

Yep, this is the one I read, but couldn't remember the source. A very good example of how the Outfit operates: cunning, treachery and deceit. Patrick got several big names when he cooperated.

Excellent article. Thanks for sharing.

That is a good article.

Well, Mario was found guilty. Looks like he'll be going away for a long time.
