Come July it will be 2 years since gangland put Cefalu as official boss of the Gambino's. In that time things have been seemingly pretty quiet in the family, a few indictments here and there but no huge stories other than Cali being made unnderboss according to sources.
Not heard much though on Cefalu, has anyone else? How he's running it etc? New captains? New members initiated etc. Anyone heard even speculation on his style?

There is a Dominick Cefalu popping up here and there on the internet. A cousin of Domenico (the boss) perhaps? Some say he is a captain now. And also a Riccardo Cefalu has recently been made. Is anybody familiar with these guys? Or are the two of them just another case of "Paulie DiMarco", (internet rumors, in reality nonexistent)?

He's very quite and keeping the members on the down low.

Yes, Dominick is his cousin. Riccardo Cefalu might be Domenico's uncle, who was also indicted in the 1982 drug trial.

Riccardo Cefalu was a big heroin guy back in the late 70's and 80's. Brought in alot of dope from the heroin labs in sicily. I'm pretty sure Domenico Cefalu was part of his junk operation and was popped in 1982.

Riccardo Cefalu is at least 85 now. Dominick Cefalu is his son and Domenico Cefalu is his nephew. They were all arrested on heroin charges back in the early 1980's.

Thanks for this! I wasn´t aware of him at all til I saw one of Pogo´s charts a year ago or so. So it´s according to his charts Riccardo Cefalu is made. (Pogo is a very knowledgeable poster overthere.) I tend to believe he was recently made. I could be wrong though.

They always have a hard time cracking The Sicilians, they're of a different breed. So you're not going to hear much as long as things are going according to plan. From what I've read, the whole hiearchy (spelled that wrong) of the Gambino's are mostly Sicilian now.

I personally don't think he'll ever get out. And its probs best for the Gambinos he doesn't as it seems his influence shouldn't be underestimated.

I'm just not sure how smooth the transition has been to a Sicilian led family, and I meant Gene might remind the fat old tracksuit guys who've been holding their tongue of the old days. His presence might just rock the boat slightly, and in this day and age a rocked boat = guys flipping when they get pinched.
