I saw the movie Iceman, staring Michael Shannon, and thought he did a very good job..

This got me interested in the real life character, so I bought the book by Phillip Carlo, and thought it was completely fabricated and exaggerated, I don't know if Philip Carlo exaggerated, Kuklinski, lied to him, or it was a combination of both. But I wound up having to put the book down for ereasons discussed in this thread. To me it seemed over the top in exaggerations and BS stories.

Anyway, I am wondering if the book by Anthony Bruno is any better than the one by Carlo.

I thought it did because it had the picture of the movie on the bookcover, but it was published long before the movie came out. I wound up buying anyway and have just started reading it.

I read the Philip Carlo book about Kuklinski and I didn't even bother finishing it. This guy was claiming responsibility for hits and murders that people have long already confessed to and been convicted of. Guy's a clown and a strait up liar to say the least. I mean, he claims he killed Paul Castellano, Roy DeMeo, to name a couple. We all know that's bullshit. Fuck this guy
