Not sure how many have seen this, but it's an interesting document talking about an associate if Frank Cali's and why he was denied a license for a business. Interesting to see how a civilian's history with mob guys and how it is still a part of daily life for some people. Also the fact that he denies knowing him more than just an acquaintance is interesting to me the level of denial in this day and age. Also describes other mob figures in detail. Anyways hope some find it interesting if you haven't seen it.

It says LoVerde is related to the Adamita's who used to be some of the biggest heroin dealers around. Then goes into business with Frank Inzerillo and is an associate of Cali's. Hmmm, wonder why they denied him? lol

On top of that i think LoVerde is related either by blood or marriage to John Gambino and his brothers. Not 100% on that but i'm pretty sure he is.

LoVerde is a known associate of the Gambino LCN family and theres a chance he just might be a made guy himself. All these guys are related in one way or another and i'm pretty sure come from that big Gambino Inzerillo DiMaggio Spatola clan back in sicily.

Not positive on him being made but it is definitely possible. Gambino's been making alot of these guys from the clan back home. But again i'm not positive that he is made.

The Lo Verde's are related by blood to Gambino's in Palermo.

Interesting that he would meet with joe d'amico even. I wonder what he does now without having got that business

Those NYC Business Integrity Commission denials come out every so often. Lots of them relating to mob-connected waste companies, as well as some food companies.

I told you guys years ago, Cali and them are getting into more and more legitimate businesses. Sometimes it doesn't work out and they get denied a license. It's all about who you (they) know.

edit: and none of those businesses to do with waste or garbage.

Do you know how they are related?

BTW, there was also a Chicago boss named Toto Loverde. Wonder if he was related too.

I was at a wedding several years ago in Cefalu', Palermo. At a table on the groom's side, was a mix of Lo Verde's and Gambino's (the surnames, nobody in particular anyone here would know of). I didn't know any of them and the way I was introduced was, "this is xyz and he's cousins with xyz..." So I understood they were cousins. There were some Lo Verde's from Bensonhurst that were in Sicily for the summer as well, at this wedding.
More specific, I can't answer.

They're most likely related through both marriage and blood.

I know they're related through the Romano's. There were 2 Romano sisters Rosalia and Giuseppina. Rosalia married Leonardo Lo Verde and is Silvestro Lo Verde's mother, and her sister Giuseppina married Rosario Gambino who is as everyone here probably knows John and Joe Gambino's brother.

So that means that Silvestro Lo Verde is a first cousin to Rosario Gambino's four kids.

Ok so Rosario Gambino is related to the Lo Verdes by marriage but Rosario's kids are related to the Lo Verde's children including Silvestro by blood through the Romano's. Does this make sense?

I'm starting to confuse myself. confused
