Any1 ever see it? It was on tv the other night i had never heard of it but it was pretty good. Very loosely based on the merlino stanfa conflict. Not that many philly mob movies out there.
"Let me tell you something. There's no nobility in poverty. I've been a poor man, and I've been a rich man. And I choose rich every fucking time."
its a decent film. and your right it does centre around the young upstart gangsters defying the sicilian heroin dealers. Giovani ribisi gave a solid performance.
If you enjoyed 10th & Wolf, rent or buy the movie called Brooklyn Rules. The film was written by Terrence Winter of the Sopranos and it is a great story on 3 childhood friends who take different paths in life, Scott Caan ended up getting hooked up with the Gotti wing of the Gambino's...great story, very good movie.

10th&Wolf wasn't too bad some of the actors could've done a better job or either that or they could've chose better actos for the parts. Brooklyn Rules was ok but just like 10th&Wolf never was very well known or popular for a reason
