In finding Ponzo guilty of racketeering, jurors found Ponzo responsible for the Salemme shooting and the the Sept. 16, 1994, non-fatal shooting of Joseph C. Cirame. But jurors found prosecutors had not proven he participated in the shootings of organized crime figures Stephen Rossetti, Timothy L. O’Toole, and Richard Gillis, and the murders of Richard Devlin and Joseph Souza, according to court records.
