Hi Folks,
I have just began reading "The Godfather". I have been interested in reading it for some time now because I have really enjoyed the movies. I understang "The Godfather Returns" is about to be released and I am sure I will read it too. Are there any other Novels (books) that go along with the storyline of the Corleone Family that I should read?

Thanks in advance for your help... smile

I believe someone said "The Sicilian" mentions Michael Corleone in a scene but it is not "about them"

Turnbull will be able to answer your question though

Yes, "The Sicilian" involves Michael Corleone briefly, but it's not an extension of "The Godfather."

You might consider checking out "The Godfather Legacy" by Harlan Lebo. Its a wonderful discussion (with awesome pictures) about the making of the three "Godfather" movies.

As has already been pointed out, "The Sicilian" has a little about Michael Corleone (and even less about Clemenza and Don Vito) but its really not Godfather related.

Still an entertaining read, nevertheless. I recommend it if you like Puzo. Probably his last great novel. Not that the books that followed were bad, but he'd lost some of his edge by then. The Fourth K was probably the best of them.
