New HBO anthology show. The first season stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as two detectives attempting to solve a murder in Louisiana.
If you haven't see it yet, check it out. Probably the best show I've seen in quite a while. McConaughey killed it in the first episode and if he doesn't win an Emmy it's gonna be a shame.

I'm excited about this, i hadn't heard of it until my brother-inlaw who seems to know my exact tastes from past reccomendations, said i should watch it. I'm looking for a good Drama show to watch now, as the only ongoing dramas i'm watching now are Sons of Anarchy and Justified so hopefully this is it. I need to say that McConaughey has surprised me recently, never been a fan of his until his recent parts in The Lincoln Lawyer and Dallas Buyers Club. The only old performance i liked of his was Dazed and Confused .
I haven't watched it but i think i'm gonna check it out. It has a 9.4 out of 10 rating on IMDB from over 18,000 people....thats about as good a rating as you can get.
I will, when i do i'll post my thoughts here. As Giancarlo showed it's incredibly popular on IMDB, it's actually 5th out of all shows, also Breaking Bad surpassed Planet Earth lately an became the number 1 show.

I have been watching as well. Sort of a slow moving, dark series but it's keeping my interest.

We are a town of about 2000 and everyone that has seen the episodes is kind of upset that they use our towns name yet this was filmed no where near Erath, or south of where we live.
Best show on tv imo. Love it. Everything about it. It's one if the GOAT imo. Mcconaughey is going to win the Emmy. Idk how they're going to recapture this years feel but I have faith in the writers. Hopefully they get grade A actors for the next seasons like they did this season.
Sunday's next-to-last episode strains credibility. Marty goes to work full-time for Russ in solving the Yellow King case, risking all. After all, it's the least he could do for Russ, whom he almost killed in a fight ten years earlier after Russ banged his wife...
Ntra la porta tua lu sangu sparsu, E nun me mporta si ce muoru accisu... E s'iddu muoru e vaju mparadisu Si nun ce truovo a ttia, mancu ce trasu.
I think after seeing the tape marty couldn't go back to living his life, especially considering since he executed ledux basically killing their lead onto this bigger conspiracy, rust mentions the idea they owe a debt for that day because of it. Also Martys life is shit now and probably wants to go out swinging.
Anyone watching the season finale? Probably the best episode in the season. Wow that old backwoods scenes....creepy. About 15 more minutes to go but good episode.

The ending was good, I liked the quote about Light and Dark. I thought they wrapped it up well. I was fearing an ending that had everyone wondering what it meant. I think that Matthew Mcconaughey deserves an Emmy Award for his performance. He raised it from being an average show to a very good one.
