New 4 part show we have had here all about the true life story of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Apparently he was a bit of a dashing, womanising war hero type. Sounds familiar??
Well worth a watch if you can get it. Certainly will appeal to Bond fans.

I read all the Bond novels multiple times years ago. Fleming, as you know, was a quite effective intelligence officer in WWII, and wrote with conviction and experience. But Fleming was an even better travel writer, which is why his novels are so rich in satisfying detail.
