Naked and Afraid - Discovery Channel,

While channel surfing one night, this Title caught my eye. I've now watched a few episodes and I find it mildly entertaining. As far as reality goes, it appears to be on the level. If you don't know the premise, check out the clip below. I cheer for the snakes, mosquitoes and hyenas.

I have watched it and hate it. I just see no use for it. Who will be walking around in the middle of nowhere with no clothes on? Just crap IMO.

And yes if I do watch it I hope for the bugs hot and heavy too

Most of these "reality" shows are sooooo pretentious. I have been watching one recently that I find interesting and entertaining - "The Incredible Dr. Pol". I used to like "Dirty Jobs", but I think its off the air.

Regarding walking around with no clothes on....I'd like to see the lens smudge removed.

I have watched Naked and Afraid a few times only because I enjoy the survival aspects of it . Having said that, remember that there is a camera crew nearby so they really are not alone. Also if bitten by a venamous snake the crew can call in an extraction chopper at any time. I don't trust reality shows after learning that Pawn Stars was rigged

Of course they are not going to "let" them die, but you have to wonder if they don't sneak them a little drink of water. I also wonder why we don't see them performing bodily functions? Maybe because they bring out the portable jungle-potty.

Yeah, like slip them a hot sub, or a hot shower. You can onl last so long with no water or food

I actually enjoy this show. Is it just me or does it seem like every female on their thinks that their male counterpart is not putting enough emphasis on letting them pull their half of the load?

Personally if it were me and I had to survive 21 days with another person, I would ask them to focus on what they are skilled to do, while I pulled the brunt of the weight in the other areas of survival (not anything to do with sex. I just think the guys on the show are all head strong survivalists that want to get the job done ASAP.
