Yeah roy was into kiddy porn , anything that would make him money. He was hooked up with a guy named eddie mishkin who was the main distributor of all kinds of porn, eddie had a bookstore on 42nd st. If you have ever read Murder Machine, you'll see he was involved in the sale of the kiddie porn/beastiality movies. Nino was pissed when he found out and threatened Roy with death if he didn't stop. Roy's explanation was that it was the way the market was going and they couldn't stay competitive if they weren't involved.

I believe Roy was a distributor of kiddie porn/farm sex porn. He did not bankroll the movies he just bought and sold them. He may also have helped develop the films as well as he was involved in dubbing x rated movies so this would not have been a stretch. I think this is what you mean by involved.
