In the old days?will you get killed because you messing with a connected guy?In Sopranos, the Colombo festival,some indians hit little Paulie on his head,i remember they dont get into trouble these days.But what if it happened before 90s? No offense because I know you're not American and you're just curious. But you really have to stop with "The Sopranos." It's just a television show. Sometimes they got it right, but more frequently they got it wrong. Still a great show, though  . Connected guys tend to be younger and more short-tempered. Plus, they feel they have something to prove. They get into scuffles a lot more frequently than their made guy elders. If someone got killed every time a connected guy got into a fight, there'd be no one left to make. That's what sitdowns are for  .

SimonChen has a point, even if by accident What point are you talking about? He asked if there was a set rule about laying hands on a connected guy, and there isn't. Sure, sometimes crazy young guys end up killing each other over everything from money to broads to dope. But there's nothing set in stone about not hitting a guy just because he's on the record with someone. It's understood that you shouldn't do it, but that's about it.

@PB I was under the impression that up-and-comer Paul Gulino "touched" Anthony Spero on the shoulder and it was some sort of violation that Spero could not let slide, so he had the kid killed. That's what I was talking about.

That's what I was talking about. Okay, but I thought the question was about putting hands on a connected guy, not a made guy. Maybe I read it wrong . But if I didn't, Spero was a made guy (and a fucking maniac, to boot). Plus, that was a very isolated incident.
