Funny. Seems like mob movies are shown as a different way to get the American Dream. These first episodes being replayed on Independence Day is ironic. Intentional or coincidental is the question Don. Also, it is based on a real person?

Intentional or coincidental is the question Don. Also, it is based on a real person? Intentional? Of course it's intentional. But in my opinion not for the reason that you are insinuating. Most of the cable channels that have successful shows do the same thing because they know that people are off from work on these holiday weekends and there is a good chance that viewership for their respective shows will increase by allowing viewers to catch up on a series that has already been running. AMC did it with The Walking Dead, Starz with POWER, HBO with several of their new series. The same is done on almost every long holiday weekend. It's about competition, veiwership and ratings, nothing more. I believe that show is loosely based on rapper 50 cent's own life.
Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
