No way can Borgese go back to modeling, he is too old. He left modeling and went straight to the streets... Modeling? How does a half pint midget model? On top of that, he looks like Bruce Jenner or a pile of vomit.

The whole membership selling thing just furthers the general opinion that the Philly Crew is not true Cosa Nostra.
No doubt, this stuff happens everywhere in organized crime; greed fuels the underworld. Philly exemplifies that. They pick and choose what works for them from the LCN "handbook of rules".
Can't argue that Scarfo's greed and treachery finished Philly LCN. But, he knew the rules; understood LCN inside/out. He just chose to manipulate them to his advantage.
Stanfa was a last-ditch effort by Gambinos to gain control of Philly. He was a complete fucking dummy fraud who didn't understand LCN. Proof is Previte and Veasey and the 1,000s of hours of tape where he is making threats.
Merlino and Natale?? Yeah, right.
I can't imagine mostly any of the "young turks" faction in Philly, really appreciates or respects LCN. The only guys in Philly who likely understands and respects LCN, are the ones that interact with the NYC families.
I'm not saying LCN should be looked upon like bible study. But jeez, if your gonna do something, do it right. Don't forget that the both Albert Anastasia and Frank Scalise were alleged to have sold memberships in the Gambino family. But those isolated examples, which were the exception to the rule, didn't mean the Gambinos were not an LCN family. The same applies to this case in Philadelphia. You can find examples in virtually every family of guys picking and choosing which rules to follow.

@IVY. I agree with what you are saying. I just feel that the administration in Philly lacks any direct ties with the old=school ways of LCN. It has for some time
The NY families are just the same but there are still quite a few guys that believe in mob traditions and "codes of conduct".
I don't think that any of the "young turks" guys have a respect or appreciation for the LCN. How could they?? Most of them were brought in as outsiders or are 2nd generation to a guy who didn't truly understand it when he was involved. Of course, there are exceptions.
It would be like putting a forum member in the LCN. Sure, you can read all the stories about it, but without experiencing within the intended context, you really don't know.
