I remember being at one of the filming locations as a kid up in Lake Tahoe. Beautiful. Of course this was in the 1980's long after the show went off the air but in any event still cool to see.

I liked Bonanza. It was a good show but my sister and I both watched mostly cause we thought Little Joe (Michael Landon) was so cute!! smile FYI, back in the 70s I met Landon at a local event and got his autograph. smile

I loved "Bonanza" as a kid, and I still love it today.

Michael Landon was the coolest 5 foot 6 cowboy to ever come out of Queens. Okay, he was the only one lol.

When I was little, for some reason I was fascinated by the drawings that came after the cast credits and during the closing credits. They start at about 30 seconds here:

Favorite guest star: Marlo Thomas as a...uh...Chinese girl.

Man, those guys were the kiss of death lol.

I remember Ben talking to little Joe about youth in Asia smile Is that how you spell it? I guess it was when Ben worked on a ship after they landed in San Francisco smile
