I used some discretion when categorizing made men. Some I wasn't sure about (the Parrillis, Biancofiore) and others I believe were either made this year or very shortly after (Vena, Toots Caruso, Inendino).

I combined the Cicero and Melrose Park crews and made Marcello direct with Carlisi. Zizzo and Chiaramonti reported to Carlisi through Marcello but I tossed them into the Cicero/Melrose Park stew because I don't think it's ever been definitely established that they were completely separate. I also made Palermo a standalone capo but combined the Heights with the South Side crew as they may have been reporting to them by this point in time.

A lot of the guys under Cicero were potentially direct with the bosses. I believe Cortina and Angelini ran their own gambling enterprise and reported straight to the top. The Bastones may have done the same with their video gambling machines.

Roland*** Ignoffo, not Ronald.

Could ChiTown or someone else let me know if I'm thinking of the same guy? Did Roland Ignoffo live for years with his alcoholic wife & twin sons in Rogers Park?

Nice post.

I recently started reading some of the old FBI files on these guys.

I'm sure many others regularly peruse the FBI vault.

It's great reading.

I could have sworn it was "Ronald" and the CCC always put out "Roland". I could be wrong, though.

I just double checked and I think "Roland" was the older guy. I am almost positive that "Ronald" is the younger one who was arrested with DiVarco in 1985.

Good chart.

Mike Magnafichi was with Elmwood Park at that time, so I would add him.

Wasn't Cortina part of the Cicero crew? Or did he run his own semi-independent gambling crew that reported to the boss?

Very good chart. I know a lot of these names as I am from the north end of Chicago Heights. There has been a lot of consolidations among the various crews, so I'm not really sure who is with who anymore. All I know is: Al Tocco was a pretty scary guy. Folks in my neighborhood referred to him as "Caesar".

As always nice chart snakes. Do you think Gary Gags ever got made. I always thought with the relationship alot of people had with his uncle he would have at least been brought in, kinda like Pudgy.

My unqualified opinion is that he is made now.

I also believe by this time Toots and maybe Michael Gurgone were probably made. Toots for alot of reasons, and Gurgone was close with the Rotis', Carusos' and the Lapietras.
