Who's your favorite Godfather character...??

Tom Hagen.This guy has a nice job. (And Duvall acts great)

Don Vito Corleone

he is a man of honor and has great family values and is a respected man..(if thats how we say it, cause i mostly speak french and have some problems with english)

I also said Tom Hagen. I feel like he is the most reasonable and also smartest of all the characters.

Michael is my favourite character, I sympathise with the way he always wanted to be legitimate but was always being 'pulled back in'.

It will always be Michael for me. So what if he's not perfect??

I loved Michael until his paranoia got to be too much. Killing Fredo and accusing Tom pushed me over the edge and I just could not look at him the same.

i got to say michael all the way. allthough he became cold and heartless i loved him through the whole trilogy.

He tried to redeem himself in GF III, but the damage was already done.

I have never seen a more powerful and moving character than Michael Corleone. I have to say he was my favorite.

Have to go Vito on this, he is The Godfather. He's the man.

I voted for Vincent, but my number one favorite didn't even make the poll ... Señor Hyman Roth.

My vote is for Al Neri, hey he was in all 3 movies.

For me it was a tough choice between Micheal, & Vincent. Cause I can see a little of myself in both of them, but ultimately I chose Micheal.

I voted Don Vito Corleone. Jus his whole personality is what the movies are based on. He's a real family man, and one of the most important things in the Godfather films is the family-situation of the Corleones. He also is a crime-boss, crime is another aspect of the Godfathertrilogy. Besides that he is the best Don in all three the movies I think.

gotta be connie! there is three different characters in her and talia plays them all brilliantly!

Definitely Sonny... He's not a nice guy, he's not someone I would admire, and he doesn't have a nice personality, but he's my favorite. There's so much fire in him, and he's trying so hard to use all that fire for the good of the family, but it gets out of hand most of the time. But he's not an idiot, he's a really smart guy, just with a short fuse. There's so much going on in the Sonny character. And nobody could ever have captured that like James Caan did... he was amazing.

1- Al Pacino
2- Robert De Niro

I did not see why they did not give Al Pacino Oscar on GF II. Robert De Niro much more desired Oscar but Al Pacino desired at least as Robert De Niro.

They are not characters.

I chose Mike...Mainly because of his redemption at the end of the trilogy.

hahhaha man, that scene was so shocking and hilarious and excting, and the look on his face when Tom talks so smooth is precious.

Vito. How can you not pick Vito. Even when his character isn't on screen you still feel him lurking about... even in Part 3.

I liked Michael, especially Pacion's peformance of him, but as a character he grew too shrewd too fast. As soon as he came back from Sicily he was like a robot - and lasted that way until Part 3.

Vito has class, honor, loyalty, everything there is about the old school mafia.
