I think a fantastic book and movie can be made just about life in Italian Harlem in the 50s through the early 80s. Over a thirty year span. But not just mob and youth gang life. Life in general my one time friend Johnny was trying to write that kind of a book. Another guy was attempting to do it. He wanted information about what is was really like living there. No one would talk to him. They said there was already a guy who lived it was attempting to write it. Will he ever finish it? Who knows he as written other things some ok and some real bad I don't need to be around to read it or see the movie. We were there who needs to see or read about it if you were there.

Are they actually making the Irishman? I believe it when I see it. That publicity thing that they did was a move to try and get financing. Financing is hard to come by now in these great economic times.
Tv seems to be the way to go for most investors now.
My we made up friend Johnny is in town for the sole purpose to try and get financing for a low budget movie. I did not offer to help and he did not ask. I have the feeling he thought I would ask but I didnt. Happy New Year! Very true TV does seem to be the better way to go these days. (I'm still waiting for Scorsese to finish Sinatra.) If they cast that fruit loop wanna be important Mark Wahlberg in this film then forget about it IM NOT WATCHING IT.
