Now he just has to worry about the feds picking up the case. I may be wrong but i believe there is no double jeopardy bar from state to fed cases. Maybe little nicky knows.
If he gets 20 years hell be out in 10-15.

he can due the massino and wait until the verdict to decide if he'll flip or not What verdict? He pleaded guilty yesterday. It's over (unless he secretly flipped, which I seriously doubt).

My understanding of the plea is that the max he can get is 25 years.
My thoughts are that the prosecutors weren't 100% sure they could get a guilty verdict in philly court of common pleas where jurors are not sequestered and other mechanisms for jurors that exist in the fed system are not in place. There was enough doubt for the prosecutors that they thought it was worth getting a guilty plea and some time out of him.
Does anyone know how good time in PA works?

The only prayer Dom Grande has right now is that Joey Merlino is taunting the Feds in the media and with his restaurant. Therefore, Joey Merlino will be the Feds #1 organized crime target in 2015/2016. They may not have enough resources in organized crime with their main priorities now in the Northeast being terrorism and public corruption, to put the full court press on both Merlino and Grande simultaneously with the different Federal priorities now here in the Northeast being terrorism and public corruption. The Feds seem to have a real hard-on for that family, though. I wouldn't be surprised to see them keep up the full court press on them. This country's never getting out of debt anyway, so I don't think that's even a consideration. Anti-terror is definitely top priority, but the mob is still up there. And you mention public corruption, which is a good point. But more often than not mob guys are tied to public corruption cases, so there's that. I don't know anything about Grande or anyone else. There's one guy's opinion that I respect on Philly more than anyone else's (Chucky from the other board), and he's been spot-on so far. But I have read enough about Joey Merlino to know that he's public enemy number one in the Philadelphia branch of the Feds. They're never giving him any peace. Ever.

My opinion is the Feds priorities here in the Northeast are: 1. Terrorism 2.Public Corruption(especially here in Jersey) 3. Financial/White collar crime 4. Major Drug Trafficking organizations 5. LCN
Which means they still will be targeting LCN and never stop, but they obviously have majority of resources tied into terror, which as a guy who commutes everyday on public transportation system from Jersey into Midtown Manhattan for work every Monday thru Friday, I AM 100% for and agree with!!!
Thoughts? That's fine. I don't disagree. But the Feds will ALWAYS prosecute mob related murders as a top priority. And there are still a bunch of unsolved LCN related murders out in Philly. No statute of limitations. They're not going after white collar fraudsters in front of LCN murderers. Not gonna happen. Now book and shy, that's a different story. Of course those things will take a back seat. But these guys are still killing people (as of two years ago, anyway). And murder changes those priorities in a hurry.

I hoped for a life in prison or death sentence in the first verdict to press him into flipping and then they could have given him whatever they want, even a ridiculously light sentence. I don't understand people who are happy he didn't flip, because that means we won't learn anything new and interesting about the recent history of the Philly mob. Who has expressed joy about him not flipping in this thread? Not here and not now. But the matter has been discussed for a long time on at least 3 forums, not counting comments on various articles on internet and there definitely were some people who cared more about Nicodemo being a "stand-up guy" than squeezing information out of him. Don't remember who exactly.
Willie Marfeo to Henry Tameleo:
1) "You people want a loaf of bread and you throw the crumbs back. Well, fuck you. I ain't closing down."
2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."

You're right about the Federal murder charges Pizza, I will agree. Just a personal opinion, but I want the best the Government has (ie the Feds) going 100% after these terrorist scum who kill innocent people and leave LCN to state police, county, etc.
Let's take the LCN here in Jersey for example because its what I am familiar with, they have the following agencies going after them: FBI, NJ State Police Organized Crime Units, County Prosecutors Detectives typically do the gambling operations busts, County Sheriffs Detectives typically do the gambling busts as well, and some of the city police have Organized Crime Squad Detectives like Jersey City most recently with their Genovese bust in 2007 and I believe Newark has an organized crime squad as well.
I think its absolutely ridiculous that all those government resources are looking into LCN. The FBI should 100% dedicate to terrorism and leave State/county/city detectives to LCN, again my opinion as someone who grew up as a teenager when the World Trade Center was attacked and had his HS in Jersey shut down and football practice cancelled and friends parents and older brothers who worked in the towers murdered on that horrible day. Until the day I die I will never forget the smoke from the Towers made it all the way here to Jersey.
OK, enough of my rant I am just in a p*ssed off mood over these scum terrorists just because I feel strongly that we are going to see another attack here in NYC with all that is going on with ISIS, Paris, ETC and it enrages me!

So much for him flipping. Everyone was positive he'd flip, just because he's young. Not everyone turns lads! Do we know yet? I don't know, I'm just asking. Because there's nothing so far but a Twitter tweet (or whatever you call it ). Twitter is ridiculous, full of attention seeking homo's. He'd have flipped a year ago if he was going to surely. I don't understand why 99% of people thought he'd flip, 99% of made guys don't flip. Where did you get that figure? Made guys today aren't even close to being as stand up as the old timers. LCN is limping all around the country. Do you have a source for the 99% number? Rats are everywhere, more so today than ever before. Nicodemo will cooperate from prison but may not testify against anybody direct.
As Uncle Charlie used to say, "Never get into pissing matches with skunks."

And the Feds are never going to put LCN murders on the back burner. Ever. But book and shy are a different story. They'll always be around, especially if they can take a page out of the New York, Chicago and Detroit playbook, and curb the fucking violence. Because if they don't, they're going to remain a top priority across the board.

Say what you want about Bush, but at least he had moral clarity about this issue. You didn't have to worry about him going out of his way to be politically correct.

Bush was in way over his head as President. But he was a decent man and he had no agenda. You knew who he was when you voted for him (or against him). Obama lied about who he was, and he's turned so far to the left since his re-election that not even his most fervent supporters can argue that point.

Pizza-
Maybe when my generation comes "of age" and contributes to leadership levels in politics on a federal level we will divert 100% of all federal resources to eliminating terrorists activities here on American soil and fortifying our borders.
I am 30 years old now and was 16 years old when the WTC was attacked so I grew up and became an adult in the post 9/11 NY/NJ area. Its scary to think that my generation who grew up in a post 9/11 world will be leaders in politics on a federal level very soon is terrifying....lol Well, I'm 55. I was 42 when the towers were hit, and I watched them burn every day for weeks. We live right on the water in Throggs Neck. Bird's eye view. I still worked in funeral service at the time, albeit in the union. But we were still called to duty for picking up human remains and such. There aren't many people who were as personally involved in that tragedy as I was (except of course the families who lost loved ones and the first responders). Long story short: You're preaching to the choir, son .
