Besides Gaggi and his crew did Demeo have any good relationships with anyone else? Maybe the Lucchese family since they were big in the Canarsie area?

Wasn't De Meo headhunted by the Lucchese family before he gravitated towards the Gambino's?

Some of his crew who weren't murdered ended up going with the Luccheses so I'm sure he knew them...

At least a few of his guys were close to lucchese guys (including burke). That's about all I know for sure. From the things I tend to hear from guys who were around, it seems to matter more where you operate rather than what family you're in. Location determines who you bump into more than family basically. Also I know demeo had quite a few business interests in NJ so he must have been interacting with jersey crews as well

Demeo made money with pornography in New York and in nj where was in business with Robert DiBernardo that was with decavalcante before passing to the Gambino, first was an associate of the Lucchese and is presumed that have maintained the relations, in the late '70s after made has whacked people as favor for several families.
