Good point Furio.
Personally I dont think Merlino is the boss, contrary to general consensus. I dont think he, the organisation, anyone, is that stupid. The organisation would be insane to keep him. He'd be insane to keep the title.
The only rational theory is that he's trading off the perception of the title in Florida and Philly are happy to have him falsely in the spotlight and the Feds sitting in cars in Miami heat all Summer and not in South Philly.
Otherwise he and Philly, are fucked.
But thats just an opinion.

I swear on my life I know someone who has a hoodie that says "team Joey Merlino" on the back of it... And he wears it out in public.. And this is in NE Philly... Philly is known for soft pretzels,cheesesteaks,scrapple and the ultimate mafia fanboys!!
