I've never had one, MC. But from what I've heard, they don't tend to become cancerous over time. Just bigger. So don't sweat it, and just get it taken care of. NOW. Because the bigger it gets, the more it will affect your quality of life (including your golf swing). I have to stop by my parish tomorrow. There's a Saint Thérèse statue with a candle offering. So expect some roses as a sign of good things to come (What, you think I'd forget a fellow Catholic's favorite Saints? ).

Yo Gents, Maybe we have some health issues where conversation might be of interest or help. (Don't let the name fool you, I'm a guy).
Recently I have been diagnosed with Spermatocele, an enlargement in the scrotum. Read below for a brief description. You can google it on webmd. I've had it for about 5 years and its been getting bigger. It might be time to get it taken care of. I'm going for an ultrasound next week. I had an ultrsound 4 years ago and it was found to be non-cancerous. Let's hope it stays that way. Anyone have any experience with this condition?
What is a spermatocele? A spermatocele (epididymal cyst) is a painless, fluid-filled cyst in the long, tightly coiled tube that lies above and behind each testicle (epididymis camera.gif). The fluid in the cyst may contain sperm that are no longer alive. It feels like a smooth, firm lump in the scrotum on top of the testicle. Good Luck MC, my Friend Jerry at he Beer Disto had ths same isuue, he is fine. I've never had one, MC. But from what I've heard, they don't tend to become cancerous over time. Just bigger. Nice. @MaryCas, No experience or knowledge of the condition but definitely follow what the Dos Equis guy said and get it checked out pronto. Just remember that the only thing that gives orders in this world is Good, I will go soon as well. I started peein in three directions....just onc a week or so. LoL

I bought a nose-less seat called "The Easy Seat". Works well. Only drawback was more weight on the wrists and wobbly balance. You'd be surprised how the nose affects your weight distribution.
MC, I don't mean to be preachy, but if the noseless seat is affecting your balance on your bike, you could be putting yourself in more danger than you'd experience in having the condition repaired. Not preachy at all. It was an interesting transition. I'm a cautious person by nature. I've adapted. I know what I can and can't do. Anyone having problems in that area should give it a try. I should probably consider switching to a more upright bike (although my bike is a mountain/road bike). $$ are prohibitive at this point, so I don't over extend my balance point.

How dare you make such a thread and not create a "Women's health issues" topic also? You're such a sexist pig.
In all seriousness though. I've heard about this. Does it feel a little too sensitive or even painful when you touch the spot?
-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

Not exactly men's health issue more of a general health issue. I have been having lower back pain, on and off for about a yeah. Recently I had a flair up, at first the pain radiated to my knee which was normal it has started to move down towards the front of my foot. I haven't gone to the doctor but with research online and speaking with my cousin (who is a PA) it sounds I have a herniated disk, I won't know for sure until I go see my cousin who is in Florida for the next week. Anyone on here ever have this? I've looked online to look for remedies, mostly stretching and anti inflammatories.

Not sure if the same thing but when my back goes out, with simular pain....
I do both Heat and cold on by lower back.
I will do 20 minutes with a heating pad, then a little later do 20 min with a ice pack.
It gives relief.
If I keep to my excersise routines and my sit ups, it does not show up often.
I get it about twice or three times a year, my doc said it come and goes with weight fluxuation, keep off the extra pounds and the back should be fine, for me anyway.
Good luck with it Dude.

I'm Sleeping with a BRAND New Man For years I've been telling my hubby that I think he has sleep apnea. So, FINALLY, he went to see the doctor about one of those breathing machines. Let me tell you, it's like he's a BRAND new guy. He's getting a full night's rest. Before, he was practically choking in his sleep and I'd have to whack his arm to wake him up. He didn't sleep. I didn't sleep. This went on for years. With that machine, you either wear a small mask over your nose and mouth or you can use the one that goes under your nose. The machine is very small and not loud. At first, it felt like I was sleeping with Darth Vader because I wasn't used to the little bit of white noise the machine made. Only a few times the mask came off from him moving and it sounded like I opened up a car door window. And of course, I had to break his balls a lil about that mask lol. Oh you look so sexy, mask man meow lol. But overall that machine has made a world of difference!! So if any of you think you may have sleep apnea go to the doc and get one of those machines.
