So me and Mrs Yogi went to Boston and did just about everything we wanted to. Fenway Park, Cheers bar, Harvard, Freedom Trail, Southie, State House, Public gardens, McGreevys bar, Oyster Union House and more. A Boston native told me we had seen more of the city than him and he has lived there his whole life. Great place, great people, great food. Sign me up, we will be back cool

Sounds like you had a great time. How come you choose to go to Boston?

Yogi,

That's great. Boston is some place I'd love to visit someday. Something very appealing about it. How was the weather during your trip?

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. smile

I told you that you would love it. Next time go to Federal Hill in Providence or at least see the surrounding areas too. It's only about an hour drive maybe down the Interstate? But well worth it. I'd also go North to Maine too and check it out, I've never had the chance to do that.

The North beauty wise is one of the best along with places like Denver in my opinion. Matter of fact I'm going back to Denver July 7th. Only bad thing up there is the altitude. I thought people were full of shit when they said it was rough, and the day we seen Mt. Evans and went to the peak (14,256 feet above sea level) and man I thought I was going to die because the air was so thin.

But I love Boston and Providence. Nothing like it any where. Then to find out some of my Grandparents lines are from Warwick and North Providence was just icing on the cake and probably explained why I liked it.

Bahs-tun. Fun "Town". Glad that the USA treated you kindly. Boston is one of those cities with charm. I'd love to go to Newcastle. I hear there are some nice folks there.

I went to Boston for the first and only time the year Yankees won the worlds series for the last time. It was my first time there someone asked me to go as a favor. I don't have to do favors anymore, but I was bored so I took the train. The fast train I forget what they call it.

I get there and I noticed a fire station it was tiny. I say to myself what the fuck is this. Someone told me a lot of buildings in Boston are considered land marks. So it is a fire department building it stays one. They used to have horses and wagons that put out fires. So what do they do they build mini fire trucks that fit them:)

Then I decide to get a drink. I walk into what I thought was a sports bar they are watching red sox v yankee's. 3 or 4 game series Boston won them all. So they are all excited.

Then I notice there are no girls in the place. It is a gay sports bar smile

Then I say out loud enjoy this series. Because at the end of the baseball season only the Yankees will be in the worl series. You guys will be in this place doing whatever it is that you guys do and I left.

I did take a bus tour there it was a trolley bus tour. They have a park like central park. The person giving the tour said that park was where people learned what was going on all over the world at that time in the 1700s. I am big on historic places so I went to that park.

Comming home the train broke down. So I get off and take a cab to my real home in east Harlem. I always feel better when I go there. Then I took a car service to my other home in Brooklyn.

Glad you and the Mrs. enjoyed the trip! And by all means do plan for a return someday.
