What's going on?
I was over there at Parkside the other day, the bread with the ham is delicious but anyway in walks in the man. I was wondering how active he still is with the politics and all that there or because that restaurant has become an establishment he does't get involved anymore and maybe just kicks upstairs?
I always get a kick out of when you walk in there and there's a picture of him smiling with the borough president. It's truly a throwback.

Tony has been pretty much legit for quite some time now For years, BJ. And to put it into the proper perspective, Rom (his successor) has pretty much packed it in himself now, too. Especially since the last indictment. A Bronx kid (who lives out east now) is picking up a lot of responsibility in that crew. I was just talking about him the other day. He's one of the two guys that just got his button and got put with the guy from Locust Point. But he's also VERY close to Baby Shades. Good earner, not too violent, went to college for a little bit. Universally liked.

Speaking of that neighborhood, there was a massive coke bust at an Italian restaurant right across the street where they were selling right out of the store, dumb schmucks but you would think that since it's literally a stone's throw from Parkside they wouldn't want it going on.

It was an Ndrangheta coke ring. I don't think they were selling the coke from there, I believe the restuarant was used as a front to smuggle and stash it. And The Daily News stuck Tough Tony's name in their article in an attemp to associate him with this, simply for the fact that he owns a neighboring restaurant. I don't buy it, since it seems he's long retired. However, several other articles claim the ring was at least partially financed by the WS.

I know for a fact they were pushing it right from over there, didn't know about that they was zips tho. It was Ndrangheta, not Camorra. And the Parkside crew had nothing to do with that nonense: http://nypost.com/2015/05/07/queens-pizza-joint-was-front-for-mob-linked-cocaine-ring-fbi/rom and vic colletti are the top guys left after tony stepped down. one is a bookie one is a shylock. They used to be tonys #2 & 3. I d be willing to bet both of them are worth millions legitimately Without a doubt. They're both huge landholders, book and shy aside. You remember when Joe D's kid got knocked down last year? Well, the guy who knocked him down just got two good kids their patches. They're both in their 40's, easy on the violence, and pretty smart. One of them lives in Beechhurst now, and he's the kid I'm talking about who's slowly but surely making a name for himself in that crew. You'll know who I mean soon enough, these fucking things always get out. But I'd be shocked if that crew isn't his five years from now (the guys left are all wealthy geriatrics and this kid's an earner. And so's the other kid that just got straightened out).
