Maybe this Hollingshead guy has something on Vena which may be what Scott was alluding to in his last article when he stated Vena was heavily targeted by the feds. I don't know what kind of bodies they could pin on him but it still makes for some interesting months ahead.

The hit man statute is still apart of the Rico right? If so, they can pin murders on him from over 20 years ago if they can somehow prove the murder was done to benefit the Outfit or to aid his rise in the hierarchy.

Elmo amarante is a made guy with the bonnanos and is alive. Not a deceased outfit soldier

I've heard two different theories about Elmo Amarante. One was he and his associate Allan Grossman were owed money by the owners of Arnie's in Harvey and they took over. A financial arrangement was then made with the Outfit. At some point, Arnie's closed and they went back to New York. I think Amarante was arrested soon after.

The second theory was that Elmo Amarante, who had ties to Chicago, was essentially detailed to the Outfit for a brief period of time. This is not uncommon for the East Coast families in order to protect their soldiers and associates who have run into trouble, either legal trouble or trouble with other crews.

Not sure how Scott made that mistake. The first theory above sounds plausible. The second sounds a little too "Moe Green taking Freddy in" and I'm not aware of anything like that happening, at least in recent times, between NY and Chicago. We should remember another Bonanno soldier, Vinny Faraci, was involved in the Crazy Horse Too club in Vegas run by Outfit associate Rick Rizzolo.

She is actually related to Patty Cortez who is Jonny Spina's wife. Spina and Hollinghead were partners in several trucking enterprises - the Spina's may be trembling a bit more than Albie right now actually.

This actually adds another lawyer of intrigue. If Hollingshead was still close with the Spina's, either the Spina's are out of the rackets or Pannozzo tried to burglarize Hollingshead's house without permission or they already had suspicions about Hollingshead.

The Spinas are definitely made men and at minimum, former partners of Hollingshead. Therefore, Pannozzo could not burglarize Hollingshead's home without Spina's permission (if they are still active), or he did it without permission, or Hollingshead could not be trusted.

There is definitely a backstory that we do not know here, particular if Hollingshead was still in business with the Spinas. Perhaps there were some issues between Spina and Vena?

The Shark basically only takes one kind of client, and he's been suspect for a long time. Still, back in the day, the Outfit had a whole school of sharks, not just one, so we could say that's an improvement. Then you got a made guy from Elmwood Park making sports videos, and Solly D making a video of himself taking the ice bucket challenge, well, you may not have a need to stay in WPP too long after the feds are done with your case.

Y'all can think anything you want. I could care less. But to make this all clear. Bobby fucked up and ruined things for a lot of people. Everyone knows he went way too far after Jeff got locked up. I've heard he calls people begging for money on his books without success. And has been turned away for bond money .. I mean he only needs 100,000 to get out. Why wouldn't someone pay up for him ? Because they are staying far away from that sneaky piece of crap. He's a disgrace to the outfit.
