What kind of relationship did Joey have with Lawrence after he ratted?

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

That's a real good question if you don't mind my buttin' in..I've ALWAYS wondered that..in my personal opinion,I think yogi was pissed at the whole situation a long time before the borgata fell apart..the way nicky was acting, the salvie thing, just the whole way that everything was falling apart, aside from his brother being taken down,he was kinda looking at the big picture, what with him making more money with his own gig with nat, nat, rebar etc..he was doing o.k. without the gripes of hearing that asshole's voice on georgia ave. he distanced himself a long ways IN HIS MIND b4 everything came to a head..he was smarter than he looked.

Pretty sure I also read samething about Yogi distancing himself prior to shit hitting fan . Not sure how close him and Skinny were. I read.an old inquirer article once claiming there was a gang ran by fat joey(yogis son) and thin joey(skinny). Rite around the time of Scarfo Jr attempt. Could have been speculation or bs but found it interesting all things considered.

You are real close ,he started making money with out stealing it !!!
Also Phil was doing the same, they both started hanging with people on the fringes of the life instead of people in the thick of it all .
It was getting to them and they knew the heat was next ...

So yes the big picture....

Lawrence loved money and woman and booze and he had all three on Georgia ave.
It was(around that time) just before he got knocked down that he was staying in the same house as his wife.

Nicky took this as him distancing himself from the family and all he was really doing was what Nicky wanted him to do ...slow down on the shit booze and woman .Nick had blinders on by this time.

Growing up in that family it makes sense he would at least get feet wet to test waters. With everything going on at that time I see why he wanted no part of long haul

yeah apparently he was loyal to both. However according to leonetti lawrence had told people not to reveal important info to phil because he would run and tell his uncle. Leonetti was hurt by that and didnt have much to do with lawrence near the end

During this time they would turn to the guys that were not in the family.
They would say stuff that should have not been said(not crazy shit) but drama , I learned more about the inter workings of that family in the last year or two then I did in 20..

You wonder after all these guys flipped if it still hurt his heart to do so. It worked for him what he get out after 97 so he did 10 yrs when he had life. But from what I read it crushed his brother an him brothershit. I wrote this here before I guess when scarfo rsr. Was in atl prison with amuso chickie was there to and there was almost zero contact and there in the same block. But it could be bullshit we wernt there. But they both had there best or right hand flip both after they were convicted at trial.

Yea it crushed his brother Yogi would have been putting his own blood away for life as we know now.

But Phil came and flipped and they never needed Lawrence from what I remember ...so he was never called on because Phil could give them two times that Yogi could .

Also how but the 12 man jury that let scarfo an yogi an Phil walk on a murder they did and then the 3 go on to kill 25+ n the next 5 yrs. Scarfo must ha e had a juror but all 12? A few must still be alive and they now they fucked up. Scarfo said something like God bless the juror system or American.

Leonetti doesn't actually say a juror was paid off. He says Garber mentioned that he knew one of the jurors, once the trial was already at the deliberation stage. From the way Leonetti implies how Scarfo looked like he wanted to kill Garber after hearing that, they didn't actually know in time for it to be of benefit to them. But who knows, more likely than not, they possibly had their hooks in a juror.

We will not know the real good stuff until the second book or possibly when Nicky sr. passes then Phil will sign off on a movie.
I don't think it will be hard to pull off cos most of America has herd of Nicky Scarfo it just may take a big advertising budget but should not be far off behind Nicky sr. passing ...

I always thought they should have made a movie from "blood & honor" w/ the right production crew, it could have been a good call, even though it was the crow's basic story..but oh yes w/ the right deals, phil could make hollywood an oscar nom 4 his whole 9 yards..can u imagine? w/ maybe marty scors directing??whoa...

Maby of topic but I'm sure it was faffy who told leonetti that Lawrence said to people not to reavel things because Phil went and told his uncle. What if it wasn't true and faffy just wanted to make trouble?

Excuse my poor English hope you understand anyway.

Im with you on that....they could do a series on that but I am guessing it would mirror sopranos a little bit with a modern mob family....but you are right with the movie..

Ray Liotta as Nick the Crow?
