Whats up with this guy? Is he another Mike Franzese who "found" religion after they couldn't earn anymore, or do the experts out there think he is the real deal.

Only other guy that I ever heard of with a "Brother" prefix was somebody that I worked for called Brother Moscato. He ran a place that I worked in way back in the 1980's

He was not above slapping someone around if they didn't jump when he wanted something done. Best way to handle those type of people is just yes 'em to death. Speaking of death I think he died a while ago.

Anybody know if he was a big shot? He certainly threw his weight around. He actually spit on the piano player.....true, very true.

Sal

Thanks Belmont,

Was he a big player or just on the fringes?

I'll tell you, he had a terrible disposition. He slapped (open handed) people around and I already talked about the spitting.

Between the two, I think I'd rather be slapped. There is something really degrading about somebody spitting on you.

He was pretty old back then, I'm sure he's dead by now. This place was crawling with guys like that back in the 70's and 80's. There were so many clubs. I can drive in any part of town and remember what "used to be here or over there".

It was a great time in South florida back then, I'm sorry its over.

Back to Frank Minucci...... I read on the net that his Mother was Irish (O'Bannion) so how could this guy ever get made anyway? He was a badass no doubt about that, and hes also in a couple of movies. Just wanted some input from the experts here...... Thanks,

Sal

Unlike the other guys on that program, I never heard of the guy outside of it.

Joe Ianuzzi, Jackie DelGiorno and Nicky The Crow. Yup, that's the one. I've heard of all three prior and after I saw the show, Minucci was the only mystery to me.

You know that he had a pretty nice part in the Pacino movie "Carlito's Way"

Sean Penn drowns him in the movie

So this Minucci guy could very well be like that other guy who runs around saying he was 3rd in command in the Gambino family yet nobody has ever heard of him either. Hes a "minister " too.

Hey, I was John Gotti's driver, just call me "Pastor Sal".......

The guy who claims Joe Masseria was his Great Grandfather. Lol.

And holy crap, you're right, I didn't even recognize him until just now.
